Engagement Update Webinar

Join the National Children’s Chiefs Commission and Dr. Cindy Blackstock, Executive Director of the Caring Society, for a webinar on ending Canada’s discrimination in First Nations Child & Family Services.

They will share an update on the regional engagements held from October 1 to November 14 and discuss next steps in meeting the CHRT’s December 22 deadline for submitting a national plan for long-term reform.

 

This session will provide clarity on the process ahead and how First Nations leadership can support a strong, rights-based approach to reform.

Please join the NCCC & the First Nations Child & Family Caring Society for a webinar orientation session to the CHRT 80 regional engagement process. 

Regional engagements are to gather input from First Nations leaders, experts, and Rights Holders on a national plan to end Canada’s discrimination in First Nations Child & Family Services.
